I’ve realized that my lack of self-confidence comes from society. Within society, we are judged based on what and how much we do for others, not what we do for ourselves.

Some doctor on Instagram said that we begin to age when our bodies begin to crave comfort. So, do Black people age slower than any other race because comfort is foreign to us? Like being uncomfortable is a survival instinct from slavery? We can’t be comfortable around our people because we don’t know who to trust, and we can’t be comfortable around others because they’re not like us.
